Cavity Wall Insulation Supervisor

Job Summary

The basic nature of the work requires the installation of cavity wall insulation but will sometimes also require the removal of the existing insulation. With a team of installers to oversee, your role will be to ensure work is completed to a high standard and in a safe manner. You must be comfortable with working at heights as this is a very regular aspect of all projects.

The majority of projects involve working Monday to Friday and occasional overtime will be available. There will be the opportunity to work weekends on a voluntary basis payable at premium overtime rates. 

Daily Responsibility

  • Keep project records up to date with detailed reporting on drilling patterns, insulation used and equipment checks
  • Organise and coordinate daily work schedules for installation teams
  • Conduct tool-box talks when required
  • Allocate resources and materials needed for the day's tasks
  • Provide progress updates and ensure client satisfaction with the work completed
  • Communicate project timelines and specific requirements to the team
  • Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure it meets quality standards
  • Enforce health and safety protocols, ensuring all team members use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Essential Skills

  • CSCS card
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in CWI installation
  • SSSTS training
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Minimum of three years experience installing CWI
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Able to understand surveys and different types of properties in relation to CWI
